Macaya Training
Training Philosophy
Macaya's goal is to meet the needs of each
player he trains. Whether the player is a beginner
to the sport of soccer, or is preparing for a
professional tryout, Macaya is dedicated to
improving the individual's skills. Dan uses positive
critique to influence development among his players.
While in tough stretches of the training, support is
provided that builds mental toughness and a rigorous
work rate.
Training Outline
Training starts with a warm up/stretch,
then 15 minutes of speed/agility work. From there
the trainee can expect to do at least a variation of
500 touches on the ball (inside/outside/bottom of
the foot, with various moves intertwined). The last
half hour is dedicated to what the individual, or
group would like to focus on for their development
